Catching spring in Moscow

Catching spring in Moscow

Spring is already gone, but there is nothing better than recalling good memories related to it.

This year I had a chance to spend it in my country and got to say that being back there was absolutely delightful.

As of today, I will be always looking forward to my next trip there! God if it doesn’t make me feel joyful and happy!

Anyway, by now you should know that my blog is all about sharing my stories, journeys and experiences through my pictures.

And this time Moscow just gave its best to me.

What else you need when you have warm temperatures, a blue sky and beautiful blooming flowers all around you?

I was so lucky to witness all that beauty and a simple stroll in the center cheered me up (look at my smile in the photos).

But I had to be up to the challenge and so for my outfit I layered some tops to create the idea – so important in any big city – of a laid-back mood.

Check out then my pajama shirt, my over-sized jumper and ripped denim over my sandals with transparent heels. Not too shabby, right?

I hope that after this post on your next spring weekend you will think about me and MSC)))))

Brera Girl

Brera Girl

Great to see you again here on my blog dear readers!

Today I am writing to you from my hometown in Russia. It’s a lovely day here, sunny and warm, just the way a spring day should be.

So rumors has it that I have been working on my last article for a while here in Sergiev-Posad and, I have to confess, I started to miss my Milanese lifestyle.

It’s weird, I know, but to cheer me up I’ve decided to share with you this amazing story: let me introduce you a “Brera girl experience”!

First, let me give you a little background here: recently leather mini-skirts have been growing on me so much. That’s why today I have matched with it a pair of purple suede pumps, dense black tights and a kimono white shirt. The point is that I just can’t help but blend last trends with evergreen pieces.

And with colors (black, dark blue, white, etc.) is the same story: white is simply my favorite one – classic and elegant, timeless and trendy.

But the best is yet to come anyway. In fact, once you got this great outfit, you can still play with it to make it more “spicy”. That’s why we got accessories, right???

This time my shiny necklace and Purpleheart & Mother of Pearl Jord Wood Watches were just the allies that I was looking for.

Now that I’ve described all my outfit, let me tell you more about Brera. We cherry picked this quaint neighborhood along with Ksenia – my friend and talented photographer – where there is the first fashion restaurant in Italy. Tirimasù Delishoes.

Recently opened, this place has already conquered all the fashionistas of Milan and not only. It’s a concept restaurant that got a lot to offer: fresh and delicious desserts for breakfast and exquisite high-end dishes for lunch and dinner.

I fell in love with it when I had a chance to try there a tasting menu on the house (courtesy of my friends – the Zomato team). Food was so good and you can even get yourself a gorgeous pair of shoes at the end of your meal! What could be better for us, girls? 🙂

For today’s look, I wanted you to focus on my blazer-dress, that’s why I paired it with denim shirt, black tights, white sneakers. To complete this look (since it was still a bit chilly outside) I popped on my shoulders a leather jacket.

I could not forget about my accessories: they are very important if you want to give more individuality to your look. I opted then for a pair of colourful sunglasses, even though I certainly could have gone for a pair of black shades (but this time though I wanted to keep it more playful!).

Then I went for a big stone ring and attached to my Louis Vuitton purse – since I still feel a quirky children inside –  a Mickey Mouse charm that I’d bought a couple of years ago in Paris.

Talking about black jacket is definitely a must-have for any girl: you can play with this kind of garment a lot, transforming it, coming up with millions of different matches from jeans and shorts to skirts and dresses. And I fully intend to wear it with everything.

Via Margutta

Via Margutta

Everyone loves Rome.

There is something priceless we may have here, something unusual that no one can take away from us.

Been here once and you can’t help but come back to stroll over and over again these everlasting and fascinating streets.

But have you ever happened to wander in Via Margutta?! Located between Via del Babuino and Viale della Trinità dei Monti this little alley got a lot of magic to offer: antiques shops, backyards and b-sides of window displays of the famous boutiques, luxury apartments and hotels, hidden restaurants and top-notch fashion brands’ offices like Red Valentino (by the way did you know that Valentino was founded in Rome?).

Personally, I adore this “Via“, its charming and relaxing atmosphere, the peace of those climbing plants on the walls. When I first discovered this little paradise, I was completely in awe.  At the end of a working day, it’s just what you need to enjoy yourself while surrounded by its beauty. Do you agree?

Well, if it is not festivities time!

In this moment of the year we always long for soul places to share with our loving ones. Let me introduce you then Patriarch Ponds – a remarkable garden in Moscow – this year was the most popular destination to spend your leisure time with a stroll, a coffee brake, a light-lunch or a photo-shooting.  I wasn’t an exception and I was inspired to want to check out on this fascinating place. Once I had landed in Moscow I have immediately put on my warmest sweater and headed right up there.

Here competition for a cozy seat is fierce: lots of glamourious places with its shimmering window settings blazed with light and colour offer you a pleasant stay and a good cup of coffee with plenty of interesting twists that I never tasted.  The most striking and photographed one, I guess, was Uilliam’s Café. UC every year does the kind of alluring festoons that function as ideal visual candy attracting and making an effect on all the girls of Moscow and not only.
